The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Dance Education” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Master’s course with a duration of eight semesters. This program is aimed at high school graduates who aspire to build a career as dance teachers. The multidisciplinary approach of the Bachelor’s program enables participants to obtain academic knowledge in the core fields of dance education. This includes contemporary dance, choreography, as well as artistic design. As part of their studies, students are also allowed to obtain practical experience by working with individuals of various age categories.
