The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Harpsichord” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna Kunst provides a full-time Bachelor’s course with a duration of eight semesters. This program is targeted towards newly graduates of music schools who are motivated to learn how to academically use the harpsichord as a musical instrument. The aim of the Bachelor’s program is to provide students with the groundwork for scientific research in the field. Besides practical seminars, participants are also given the possibility to take part in ongoing scholarly investigations. In contrast with other degree programs at the faculty, the recommended maximum age for future applicants to this program is 29 years.
