The study program “Master of Arts in Historical Double Bass” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Master’s course with a duration of four semesters. This program is suitable for prospective students who wish to acquire expertise in the particular subject. The Master’s program offers participants the opportunity to obtain specialist knowledge about existing musical styles during the early modern period. Besides this, students are allowed to deepen their musical techniques in the use of the double bass.
