The training program “Certificate of Performance (CoP) Instrumental Accompaniment” offered at the Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time course with a duration of two semesters. This program is targeted towards professional conductors, composers, instrumentalists and singers who are interested in acquiring an academic understanding of the various ways in which they could further develop their artistic competencies in their professional area. The course’s central focus is students‘ professional development. That is why participants have constant contact with their lecturers to ensure that the program corresponds to their study objectives in the most suitable way possible. Some of the individual objectives that students have are namely, preparation for orchestra auditions, preparation and participation in competitions, stage presence, performance coaching. After completing the training program, participants receive a certificate in both the German and English language.
