The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Music Education – Voice and Instruments - Accordion” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Bachelor’s course with a duration of eight semesters. This program is suitable for participants who would like to pursue professional employment as teachers of music. The aim of the Bachelor’s program is to comprehensively train students to adequately fulfil their work obligations as future musical pedagogs. Additionally, participants also acquire extensive training on the fundamentals of working with a particular musical instrument in order to subsequently be able to convey the most essential information to a younger audience. Completion of the program provides students with sufficient basic understandings of the subject to continue their higher education.
