The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Music Education – Voice and Instruments – Historical Bassoon Instruments” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Bachelor’s course with a duration of eight semesters. This program is suitable for prospective students who are motivated to pursue a professional career as teachers of music education. During their studies, participants receive comprehensive training in the fundamentals of working with children and taking into account their developmental tempo. Besides extensive knowledge of various pedagogical practices, students are also enabled to develop an expertise in the use of musical instruments, namely the viola. Successful graduation from the degree program opens up the possibility for participants to also obtain a Master’s degree in the field.
