The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Music Education – Voice and Instruments – Historical Violoncello” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Bachelor’s course with a duration of eight semesters. This program is suitable for participants who are motivated to build a professional career as pedagogues of historical violoncello. The division of the Bachelor’s program into two core areas allows students to acquire the fundamentals of teaching music education while deepening their academic knowledge in the professional use of the musical instrument. Moreover, the program enables participants to practise the abilities that they have acquired during the degree program by attending compulsory teaching practices.
