The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Music Education – Voice and Instruments - Organ” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Bachelor’s course with a duration of eight semesters. This program is targeted towards secondary school graduates who wish to both acquire extensive expertise in the academic acquisition of the organ as a musical instrument and who would like to pursue employment in the educational sector. The Bachelor’s program provides participants with an academic understanding of the necessary competencies to design and execute a subject-specific course. In addition, by enabling students to acquire comprehensive training in working with the organ, students become familiar with the particular musical instrument and, thus, would be prepared to find adequate solutions to eventual malfunctions. A precondition to applying for this program is a minimum age of 17 years.
