The study program “Master of Arts in Oboe” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Master’s course with a duration of four semesters. The program is ideal for postgraduates of a related  Bachelor’s program who wish to acquire expertise in the academic acquisition of the oboe. The Master’s program provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the subject matter. The program also enables students to practice professional handling of the instrument by participating in various events, as well as regular preparatory auditions that the faculty organizes. Some of the core modules that participants could major in are “Brass Ensemble”, “Wood Wind Chamber Music”, “Orchestra Production” and “Live-Electronics”. There is no age limit regarding the application process.
