The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Violin” offered at Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Bachelor’s course with a duration of eight semesters. This program is suitable for prospective students who are interested in obtaining academic competencies in working with musical instruments, in particular with the violin. The Bachelor’s program aims to acquaint students with the fundamentals of music education while providing them with extensive training in violin. During their studies, participants are also given the opportunity to take part in various masterclasses and regular practice auditions at the Wien Modern Music Festival. As the program accepts a selected number of students each year, participants must successfully pass the entrance exam to be able to start the program.
