The study program “Master of Arts in Vocal Accompaniment for Opera'' offered at Music and Arts University Vienna Kunst provides a full-time Master’s course with a duration of four semesters. This program is suitable for postgraduates who wish to obtain academic expertise in the subject matter. The Master’s program aims at providing students with the necessary musical and artistic competencies for vocal accompaniment in opera. In addition, participants receive extensive language training in French and Italian to be able to critically understand musical pieces in vernacular. The program is open for applicants from all age categories who have completed a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
