The study program “Master of Arts in Vocal Accompaniment for Song and Oratorio” offered at the Music and Arts University Vienna provides a full-time Master’s course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards professional singers who are motivated to acquire expertise in vocal accompaniment. The Master’s program provides participants with the possibility to acquire the necessary skills needed to become an expert in a particular musical field of interest. This could be done by becoming familiar with the repertoire of the particular musical style and being able to easily switch between different styles. In addition, the program aims to prepare students to be able to present their creative ideas in front of a large audience.
