Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1991, is a public university seated in Neubrandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. More than 2,000 students are currently provided with Bachelor and Master degree programs in four faculties: the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences, the Faculty of Health, Nursing, Administration, the Faculty of Landscape Sciences and Geomatics, and the Faculty of Social Work and Education. The Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences offers the study courses “Agriculture“ (B.Sc., M.Sc., also offered as a dual study course), “Sustainable Agricultural Production Management“ (M.Sc.), “Food Technology“ (B.Sc., also offered as a dual course), “Food and Bio Product Technology“ (M.Sc.), “Applied Business Administration“ (B.A., extra-occupational course), as well as “Dietetics for Dietitians“ (B.Sc.). The Faculty of Health, Nursing, Administration provides the study courses “Vocational Teaching for Health Professionals“ (B.A.), “Health Sciences“ (B.Sc./M.Sc.), “Health Promotion and Health Prevention“ (M.A.), “Nursing Science/Nursing Management“ (B.Sc./M.Sc., also offered as a dual course), as well as “Management in Social and Health Services“ (M.A.). The Faculty of Landscape Sciences and Geomatics comprises the following study courses: “Geoinformatics“ (B.Eng.), “Geodesy and Metrology“ (B.Eng.), “Geodesy and Geoinformatics“ (M.Eng.), “Nature Conservation and Landuse Planning“ (B.Sc.), “Landuse Planning“ (M.Sc.), “Landscape Architecture“ (B.Eng.), as well as “Landscape Architecture and Green Space Management“ (M.Eng.). The Faculty of Social Work and Education includes the study courses “Social Work“ (B.A.), “Social Work – Social Work Studies, Project Planning and Project Development“ (M.A.), “Vocational Teaching for Social Work, Social Studies and Childhood Studies“ (B.A.), “Early Education“ (B.A., also offered as an extra-occupational course), “Counselling“ (M.A.), and “Organizational Development and Inclusion“ (M.A.). The educational portfolio of Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences is complemented by a number of continuative certificate courses.
