The “Master of Science in Applied Chemistry” is an extra-occupational, German-taught program with a duration of 5 semesters. It is a continuation of the Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry and aims to deepen the knowledge and qualifications of students. It is suitable for applicants who wish to combine work and study at the same time. Apart from the basic course content, the MSc offers participants various elective modules to choose from and tailor their education. Students can undertake seminars in Process science and Catalysis, Green Chemistry, Surface Science, Chemistry and Humanities, as well as the application of spectroscopy. Furthermore, students will learn methodological skills and analytical thinking, needed for day-to-day operations. Graduates are qualified to pursue leadership positions in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, in research institutions, the consumer goods industry, in surveillance offices, and in environmental protection.
