The “Master of Science in Cyber Security Management” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It builds on the Bachelor’s degree in the subject offered at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses focused on 4 key topics - Digital Forensics & Technical Cyber Defense, Cyber Security Management, Aspects of Cybercrime, and Security of the system architecture. During their education, students will deepen their theoretical knowledge and gain practical relevance as well. The MSc also promotes the development of soft skills such as organisation, project management, team working, critical thinking and problem-solving. Graduates are prepared to undertake managerial tasks in control and implementation of procedural and organizational information security, in IT operations, and in information technology.
