The “Bachelor of Science in Medical Informatics” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with the main focus on Medical basics, Information systems and technologies in health care and biomedical engineering, Scientific and technical basics in health care, and Process design in healthcare. During their education, students acquire hands-on experience via the practical phase and develop software development, project management, and process analysis competencies. Graduates can pursue a career in the fields of IT, Health Care, and Business Administration, but also can further their education and pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
