Description
The “Bachelor of Science in Medical Informatics” is a dual, German-taught program with a duration of 8 semesters. The course provides students with a scientific degree combined with training to become IT specialists for system integration. Students will acquire in-depth theoretical and practical training in Information technology, Technology and diagnostics, Healthcare economics and politics, Clinical Medicine, Business administration, as well as management theory. Participants will gain hands-on experience and acquire a fundamental understanding of software development, project management, and process analysis. They’ll also develop key competencies which will allow them to tackle the challenges of the dynamic environment of the field. The BSc qualifies graduates for leadership positions in various subject-related sectors but also encourages them to pursue a Master’s degree.
