The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” is a dual-study, German-taught course with an average duration of 8 semesters. It is a combination of company-based training with a scientific degree. During their course of education, students will focus on difficult life situations, social crises and conflicts and their solutions. They’ll receive in-depth theoretical training and will learn valuable methodological and technical skills needed for day-to-day operations. Furthermore, the dual-study concept allows participants to gain practical relevance and develop key competencies. Graduates are qualified for independent social assistance in various facilities. The BA is a foundation for a later Master’s degree.
