The Master’s degree „Master of Arts in Social Work/Psychosocial Counseling and Mediation“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. The aim of the program is to teach students how to apply recognized methods for analyzing individual and social issues (risk, crisis and conflict situations) on the basis of the knowledge gathered from the Bachelor’s degree course. During their education, students will learn how to provide conflict mediation with target groups and carry out psychosocial counselling for individuals, couples, families, and at an institutional level. Graduates are qualified to build a career in institutions of social work and counselling, as well as in the private sector, at universities, and in self-employment.
