The “Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering” program at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences deals with the research, development and also the production of electrical engineering devices and operating resources. Over the course of 7 semesters, students gain a wide range of basic knowledge of general electrical engineering without focusing on one of the numerous specialist disciplines. In the first part of the course, the focus of the training is on the basic scientific subjects, in the second - on the most important main areas of electrical engineering and also on related disciplines, such as programming and project management, and in the third is the practical phase with a Bachelor thesis which serves to further develop the students' skills and to independently work on a practical problem. Admission requirements include a general university entrance qualification, subject-specific university entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification or equivalent recognized qualification.
