The “Master of Arts in Public Management & Governance” program at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 3 full-time semesters. The main aim of the course is to thoroughly prepare students for management tasks in public administration or another public sector institution. The program teaches students to assess the efficiency, effectiveness and legitimacy of the actions of the state and administration and to recognize control modes in organizations and networks, to analyze them with regard to their effect and to further develop them in a target-oriented manner. Admission requirements include a first degree in administration, economics, law or social sciences suitable for consecutive continuation with a scope of at least 180 ECTS credits with ECTS grade "A" or ECTS grade "B" (or another proof of Belonging to the 35% best graduates) or an overall grade of 2.3 or better.
