The “Master of Arts in Social Work and Trauma Pedagogy” program at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is in cooperation with the Cooperative State University Gera-Eisenach. Over the course of 5 semesters of standard part-time study, the course creates a scientifically sound and at the same time application-oriented specialization offer for specialists in psychosocial institutions with people who have experienced trauma and who often have fundamental difficulties in social relations due to trauma-related disorders. Admission requirements include a Bachelor's degree in social work or a comparable degree, qualified professional practice usually of at least one year and a letter of motivation for choosing the course.
