The Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1949, is a public university of the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. It has locations in Nürtingen, and Geislingen. The University accomodates the following four faculties: the Faculty of Business Administration and International Finance, the Faculty of Agriculture, Economics and Management, the Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Environment and Urban Planning, as well as the Faculty of Business and Law. Round about 5,400 are offered study opportunities at Bachelor’s and Master’s level. The scope of studies offered is complemented by extra-occupational external study programs taught at the Academy of Further Education. They include the extra-occupational Bachelor courses “Automotive Business“, “Business Administration“, “Health and Tourism Management“, and “Business Psychology“, as well as the extra-occupational Master courses “Automotive Management“, “HealthCare & Technology Management“, “International Project Management and Project-Oriented Business Management“, “Management and Finance/Management and Real Estate/ Management and Production“, “Process Management“, “International Sports Marketing“, “Trend and Sustainability Management“, “Business Management“, as well as “Traffic, Criminal and Insurance Law“. Since the integration of the Hochschule für Kunsttherapie during the 2016 summer term, prospective students also have the opportunity of taking the study courses “Art Therapy“ (B.A./M.A.) “Theatrical Therapy“ (B.A.). Moreover, in partnership with the Witten/Herdecke University, the Nürtingen-Geislingen University provides a doctoral degree program. Depending on the respective program, the following degrees can be obtained: B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., LL.B., M.A., M.Sc., M.Eng., LL.M., and MBA.
