The “Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry” is a 7-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in General Chemistry, Organic And Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Chemical Thermodynamics, Chemical Engineering, Instrumental Analysis, Biochemistry And Biology, and more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, they will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Also, the BSc promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and organization, project management, etc. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, the plastic and paint industry, research and development, analytics and process monitoring, etc. Also, graduates can opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
