The “Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Materials Science” is a German-taught program with a duration of 7 semesters. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Engineering Math, General Materials Engineering, General Chemistry, Construction and Engineering Mechanics, Measurement and Control Technology, Technology of Materials, Physical Chemistry, etc. Students can also choose from a plethora of elective modules and personalise their education. The BEng is application-oriented and aims to teach participants how to implement their knowledge into practice. Throughout their studies, they’ll gain practical relevance and industry-specific skills. Graduates are qualified to pursue a career in Research and Development, Production, Process and Testing Technology, Planning and Construction, Quality Management, etc. The program is also the foundation for a later Master’s degree.
