Description
The “Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Materials Science” is a German-taught program with a duration of 9 semesters. The course offers students the opportunity to combine working and studying. It allows them to carry out in-company training as materials testers. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Engineering Math, General Materials Engineering, General Chemistry, Construction and Engineering Mechanics, Measurement and Control Technology, Technology of Materials, Physical Chemistry, etc. Additionally, participants can choose from a plethora of elective modules and personalise their studies. The BEng is application-oriented and aims to teach them how to implement their knowledge into practice. Throughout their studies, they’ll gain practical relevance and industry-specific skills. Graduates are qualified to pursue a career in Research and Development, Production, Process and Testing Technology, Planning and Construction, Quality Management, etc. Graduates can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
