The “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science” is a 9-semester program taught in German. The course offers students the opportunity to carry out apprenticeships as IT specialists or electronics technicians. The aim of the dual-study program is to provide participants with extensive practice work. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with a focus on Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Communication and Networks, Databases, Operating Systems, Software Architecture, Programming Languages, and more. Throughout their studies, participants will gain hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, the BSc promotes the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Occupational opportunities include work in application development, development of system-related software and system management. Graduates can also further their education by taking up a Master’s degree.
