The “Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management” is an 8-semester dual-study program conducted in German. Students can combine their Bachelor’s degree with an in-depth practical phase and prepare for the dynamic environment of the field. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Social Law and Health Care, Computer Science, Health and Digitization, Business Studies, English, Medicine for Non-Medical Professionals, Medical Application Informatics, Hospital Management, and Applied Statistics. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and in-company training, students will gain hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. The program qualifies graduates for work in hospitals, outpatient health facilities and care facilities, health authorities, health insurances, medical technology industry, pharmaceutical industry, etc.
