The “Bachelor of Arts in Management in Organic and Sustainability Business” is a 7- or 9-semester program conducted in German. It is a dual-study course that offers students apprenticeships in order to prepare them for the real-life working environment. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses in Economics and Sustainable Business, Cost and Performance Accounting, Business Studies, Natural Sciences, Organic Farming and Ecosystem Economics, Commercial Law, Bio and Food Analysis, Food Chemistry, etc. Participants can also choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The BA is application-oriented and aims to provide them with hands-on experience and key competencies. Furthermore, it encourages the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Graduates are qualified to work as environmental managers at local companies, or marketing managers in organic companies. Also, they can opt for a later Master’s degree.
