The “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering” is a German-taught program with a duration of 7 semesters. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll focus on subjects as Engineering Math, Technical Mechanics, Materials Science, Computer Science, Electric Drive Systems, Machine Dynamics, Measuring Technology, etc. Also, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Occupational activities include development/testing of low-emission internal combustion engines, planning of optimal production processes in factories, testing of new materials for aircraft engines, mobile robot development, etc. The BEng is also an excellent prerequisite for a later Master’s degree.
