Description
The “Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering” is a 3-semester program taught in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the Technical University of Nuremberg. The focal point of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Higher Technical Mechanics, Higher Strength Theory and FEM, Technical Thermodynamics, Numerical Fluid Mechanics, Databases and Computer Communication, Mechatronic Systems, Automation Technology, Heat Transfer, etc. Additionally, students can diversify their education by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain practical relevance and industry-specific skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue a career in the mechanical and plant engineering industries, construction, and research and development.
