The “Bachelor of Science in Medical Engineering” is a German-taught program with a duration of 7 semesters. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with a focus on Engineering Math, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Digital Technology, Construction, Technical Mechanics, Applied Statistics and Design of Experiments in Medicine, Medical Physics, etc. Additionally, students can personalize their education by taking up elective modules. Throughout their studies, they’ll receive extensive theoretical and practical training. They’ll gain hands-on experience and industry-specific skills needed for a successful career. Furthermore, the BSc promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, project management, leadership, moderation, etc. Upon completion of the program, graduates will put their expertise to use in medical device development, diagnostics, medical technology, special sensors, monitoring, software development, systems for medical prevention, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation, etc. Graduates can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
