The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” is a 7-semester program conducted in German. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll focus on subjects such as Propaedeutics, Sociology, Psychology, Pedagogy, Family, Child and Youth Welfare Law, Development, Upbringing and Education, Health and Sickness, Social Inequality, Culture, Aesthetics and Movement, etc. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, students will acquire hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Also, they’ll develop soft skills such as project management, communication and organization, problem-solving, moderation, etc. Graduates are prepared for the dynamic environment of the field and ready to assume positions in youth and social welfare offices and social services or health care institutions.
