The “Master of Arts in Social Work” is a German-taught program with a duration of 3 semesters. It is designed for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Social Structure, Modernization and Social Problems, Tasks, Achievements and Strategies, Development of Science and Research, Social Economy, Personnel and Organization, and Advice, Support, and Integration. Also, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The MA is application-oriented and aims to provide them with hands-on experience and key competencies. Also, the program promotes the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. The MA prepares graduates to assume positions in all fields of social work.
