The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1971, is a foundation university seated in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony. It runs another location in Lingen (Ems). The University breaks down into four faculties: the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Landscape Architecture, the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, the Faculty of Management, Culture and Technology, and the Faculty of Business Management and Social Sciences. Some 13,550 students receive an academic education in 68 Bachelor and 31 Master degree courses. In addition to full-time study programs, the University also offers a variety of dual and extra-occupational/continuing education programs. The scope of dual studies includes the study courses “Aircraft and Flight Engineering“, “Business Administration in Civil Engineering“, “Business Administration“, “Management and Organization“, “Mechanical Engineering“, “Midwifery“, “Nursing“, “Business Informatics“, and “Industrial Engineering and Management“. Among the extra-occupational studies offered by the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences are the study courses “Auditing, Finance and Taxation“, “Corporate Communications“, “Renewable Energies“, “International Supply Chain Management“, and “Nursing Management“. Examples of continuing education offerings are the (extra-occupational) MBA programs “Health Management“, “Higher Education and Research Management“, “Public Management“, and “Industrial Engineering Management“. Added to this are seminars and training courses. Depending on the respective program, the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences confers the following degrees: B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., LL.B., M.A., M.Sc., M.Eng., M.Ed., LL.M., MBA, and MSCM.
