The study course “Master of Science in Chemistry and Physics of Materials” at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg lasts three semesters and is taught in English. The interdisciplinary program concentrates on the production, characterization and knowledge-based development of functional materials from the laboratory and nature. The curriculum consists of the compulsory courses of Chemistry of Materials, Physics of Materials and Materials Characterization. To apply, students must have completed the joint degree Bachelor’s degree in Engineering PLUS-TUM or an equivalent degree. Graduates find employment in the chemical industry and building materials industry, the automotive industry, electrical and electronics companies, bio and medical technology etc.
