The four-semester study course “Master of Science in Data Science” at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg is instructed in English. The program teaches students how to effectively, competently and responsibly use data to gain knowledge. The course content consists of Bridge module, Compulsory modules, Elective modules, Free electives, Compulsory internship and Master thesis. The admission requirement is a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or an equivalent. Graduates become trained data scientists and find career opportunities such as agricultural sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, a software company, and insurance and finance.
