The four-semester study course “Master of Science in Molecular Biology” at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg is entirely taught in English. The joint program provides an in-depth knowledge of the chemical, biophysical, molecular, cytological and biotechnological disciplines in the life sciences. The curriculum includes Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, Molecular Analysis of Cellular Pathways, Biophysics and Molecular Analytics, Advanced Analysis and Biotechnologies for Biosystems, Practical Training in Molecular Biology Research and Soft Skills and other topics. To apply, candidates must present a relevant bachelor’s degree. Graduates are qualified for an academic career at universities, research pharmaceutical, clinical or medical institutes or work in product management and marketing for chemical, pharmaceutical or biotechnological products.
