The PH Freiburg – University of Education, founded in 1962, is a public university in Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden-Wuerttemberg. It accomodates round about 4,500 students in teacher education programs, as well as Bachelor and Master degree programs. The PH Freiburg is organized into three faculties: the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Engineering. The scope of Bachelor offerings includes the degree courses “German as a Second/Foreign Language“ (B.A.), “Education Science“ (B.A.), “Education and Training“ (B.A.), “Health Education“ (B.Sc.), “Vocational School Teacher Education in Technical Subjects“ (B.Sc. or B.Eng., in partnership with the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences), and “Early Education“ (B.A.).
