The “Master of Science in Functional Materials” program at Philipps University of Marburg is taught entirely in English. Over the course of 4 semesters, students are taught about the production, processing and characterisation of working mechanisms of modern functional materials. Fundamentals of chemical synthesis, Quantum theory of functional materials, Methods in material science, Molecular materials and other subjects are part of the course curriculum. A completed Bachelor’s degree, proof of B2 English language knowledge and a completed aptitude test are prerequisites for admission. Graduates are able to pursue careers in the fields of nanotechnology, electrical engineering, chemistry and more.
