The “Master of Arts in Indo-European Linguistics” program at Philipps University of Marburg has a length of 4 semesters. Determining the relationship between the languages in the Indo-European language family and gaining insight on modern language differentiation processes are the focus of the program. Historical psychology and language, Indo-European phonology, Historical grammar and other subjects are part of the course curriculum. A completed Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of Latin are prerequisites for admission. Graduates are able to pursue careers in adult education, public relations, cultural management and more.
