Private University College of Teacher Education Augustinum, founded in 2007, is a private university seated in Graz and sponsored by the Diocese of Graz-Seckau. It prepares students for teaching activities at primary schools, special needs schools, and compulsory schools. The study offer includes the Bachelor as well as Master degree programs “Primary Level“ (concentrations: Inclusive Education with an emphasis on Disabilities, Cultural Education, Social Education, Religious Education, Elementary Education with an emphasis on Extended School Entry), “Secondary Level, Catholic Religion“, “Primary School Teacher“, “Special Needs School Teacher“, as well as “Teacher for Catholic Religion“. Added to this are the Master programs “Primary Level with an emphasis on Inclusive Education – Development Area: Emotional and Social Development“, as well as “Primary Level with an emphasis on Inclusive Education – Development Area: Speech, Language and Communication“. The educational portfolio of Graz Church University of Teacher Education is complemented by advanced education programs for teachers, teachers of religion and kindergarten teachers, as well as continuing education courses and university courses.
