HfK+G, founded in 2012, is a state-accredited institution of higher education that specializes in Communication and Design. It has sites in Stuttgart, and Ulm (Baden-Wuerrttemberg), and is privately sponsored by the Foundation for the Promotion of Communication. Nearly 50 students are currently enrolled at HfK+G in media-related study programs. The scope of studies offered comprises exclusively study programs at Bachelor’s level. On offer are the degree programs “Advertising and Market Communication“ (B.A.), “Communication Design“ (B.A.), “Illustration“ (B.A., offered exclusively at Stuttgart campus), as well as “Technical Communication and Information Design“ (B.A., offered exclusively at Ulm campus). To be admitted to the two latter programs, the completion of an aptitude examination is required. The standard period of study of all study programs offered at HfK+G is three years. Studies at HfK+G can be taken in the form of dual studies or conventional full-time studies with an integrated practical term.
