The “Bachelor of Arts in Diaconics/Community Education and Social Work” is a German-taught program with a duration of 9 semesters. Throughout their studies, participants will receive extensive theoretical and practical training. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Theology, Religious Studies, Education and Learning, Liturgical Action, Diaconal Pedagogy, and more. Additionally, students can diversify their education by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in various sectors of the field. Graduates can also opt for a later Master’s degree.
