The “Master of Arts in Religious Education” is a 2-semester program conducted in German. It is suitable for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with a focus on School As An Educational Context, Didactics and Methodology of Protestant Religious Education, Teaching and Learning, Didactics of Church History, Contextual Theology and Interreligious Learning, etc. Additionally, students can diversify their education by taking up elective modules. The MA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in educational institutions and churches.
