Protestant University of Applied Sciences Dresden – University of Applied Sciences for Social Work, Education and Nursing (ehs Dresden), founded in 1991, is a state-approved ecclesiastical foundation university seated in Dresden. Round about 800 students are currently trained as a religious educator for church service with respect to children, adolescents, and adults. Prospective students are offered study opportunities at Bachelor’s and Master’s level. The Bachelor studies on offer are “Social Work“ (B.A.)“Nursing“ (B.Sc.), “Child Education“ (B.A.), and “Protestant Religious and Community Education“ (B.A.). At Master’s level, ehs Dresden offers the full-time study course “Social Work“ (M.A.), the extra-occupational course “Community Health Nursing (CHN)/Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP)“ (M.Sc.), as well as the continuing education courses “Social Management“ (MBA) and “Counseling“ (Master of Counseling).
