The Master’s degree course “Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy” at Psychologische Hochschule Berlin is a pioneering one in the field. It is entirely focused on the preparation of scientist practitioners in the field and the necessary acquisition of the license required by the valid current legal regulations. The studies build on the undergraduate course knowledge in the area of psychotherapy, through an optimal combination of flexibly scheduled and delivered lectures in a tone of familiarity and cooperation, by acclaimed academics and psychotherapists. Emphasis is placed upon familiarizing with all four recognized by science therapy methods and choose the one which satisfies each student best. Pastoral care for students is of an utmost level, as is the academic supervision available. Outpatient departments affiliated with the university are involved in the internships. The House of Psychology hosting the degree course is responsible for supplying opportunities for academic and professional networking, both nationally and internationally.
