Description
The Psychologische Hochschule in Berlin is a provider of the “Master of Science in Legal Psychology” degree course, which is the preparation for the position of a forensic psychologist or a further educational progress in the same field. Two specializations at least have to be done among the following: Statutory Psychological Assessment, Family Law Assessment, Criminal Assessment, Intervention in the Penal System. Covering all the theoretical requirements for this, and adding training modules, students can opt for the Specialist Psychologist for Forensic Psychology BDP / DGPs title. The part-time, work compatible design of block lessons, which continues for four semesters, are focused on the most flexible, but academically and practically complete way for preparing Scientist Practitioners. This is achieved through case discussions, simulations, visits to facilities, like prison, penal system, and the main hearing. Supervision and guidance in the pastoral life of students further supports their wellbeing and positive experience during the course.
