The Regensburg University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1971, is a public university seated in Regensburg, Bavaria. With some 11,000 students, it is one of Germany’s largest universities of applied sciences. The University is split up into eight faculties: the Faculty of General Studies and Microsystems Engineering, the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Business Studies, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and the Faculty of Social and Health Care Sciences. Prospective students are offered 45 study courses at Bachelor’s and Master’s level. Potential forms of studies are full-time studies, dual studies, and extra-occupational/training-integrated studies. The scope of dual studies comprises the study courses “Civil Engineering“, “Business Administration“, “Electrical Engineering and Information Technology“, “Building Climate Control, “Computer Science“, “Mechanical Engineering“, “Mechatronics“, “Medical Informatics“, “Microsystems Technology“, “Nursing“, “Nursing Management“, “Production and Automation Engineering“, “Computer Engineering“, and “Business Information Technology“. The range of training-integrated studies includes the study courses “Logopedics“, and “Physiotherapy“. As for extra-occupational studies, the University offers the study courses “Business Administration“, “Nursing Management“, “System Technology“, and “Social Work“, as well as the Master courses “Automotive Electronics“, “Business Administration“, “Business Administration“, and “Management and Communication“. The educational portfolio is complemented by certificate courses, module studies, and seminars.
