The “Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics” program at Reutlingen University is with a length of 7 academic semesters. The study includes one semester at a foreign university. The course is interdisciplinary in structure and has developed from economics to an important discipline in computer science. Students are taught all about the management, planning, conception, structuring, processing and monitoring of operational information in business processes. Fundamental for the students is the ability to abstract and create models for the purpose of practical analysis, conception and design of business processes. Technical college entrance qualification (also subject-specific) or high school diploma are part of the entry requirements. Admissions are restricted by NC. Graduates are able to occupy a broad spectrum of professions in the business and IT sector.
